Residential Monitor
DEPARTMENT: NORTH PARKWAY-PORTER-LEATH
FACILITY
STATUS: PART TIME, NON-EXEMPT
DAYS/HOURS: HOURS VARY AS NEEDED;
ALL SHIFTS/ALL DAYS
The RS Monitor will have the responsibilities of being the direct caregiver
for client's and assist clients with basic needs while being a positive
adult role model. actively supervising clients and assuring completion
of assigned duties/chores, assist with client activities in the building
and in community, maintaining key control, communicating problematic situations
to supervisors, assist with dispensing medications, and other duties as
assigned.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• One (1) year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to set limits and maintain the positive role and the ability
to intervene appropriately to meet the needs of the client's served.
• Ability to exhibit initiative in reporting concerns to management.
• Possess a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Effective oral and written communication skills to effectively
communicate with diverse groups of people.
• Ability to perceive and deal with sensitive issues while maintaining
confidentiality and objectivity.
• Good record keeping/documentation skills.
