for thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left." The recent membership growth at Christ Missionary Baptist Church has been nothing short of miraculous. As we grow in number, we realize that CMBC ministries must also expand to address the needs of a 21st century community. Existing ministries have evolved , and new bible-based ministries have been developed. These ministries were prayerfully conceived to teach and foster evangelism, discipleship, outreach, mentoring, recovery, counseling, support, and fitness... to name a few. Our hope is to effectively minister to the body, soul, and spirit of each person. As we expand, our need for a multi-purpose facility becomes more urgent to meet the growing challenges of the world around us. With the Word of God as our template, we pray to construct a worship center where healing and redemption take place... a place where the Holy Spirit has free reign. CMBC exists to exalt God's greatness, evangelize God's world, edify, equip, and empower God's people to express God's love. Expanding our borders to make room for God's overflow, liberates us to more fully embrace this mission. God has gifted us to be a part of His kingdom's advancement, and we shall press toward the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phil 3:14). We encourage you to join us. This dream of outreach and expansion is possible only with your help. The call to discipleship is one we do not take lightly. James 1:22 says "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." It is our prayer you will embrace this dream and join us to further God's kingdom .
